Mill Valley, CA: ActionMap Solutions is pleased to announce a change of name to Boundary Solutions, Inc. The name and logo of its flagship product: National ParcelMap Data Portal: NPDP - industry’s only digital parcel map supply point - shall remain unchanged.

According to Chris Harlow, vice president of marketing, “Incorporating as Boundary Solutions, Inc. gives us the opportunity to better describe what we do. The boundary is, after all, the heart of a parcel map. Our flagship product, NPDP, provides a portal to almost 40 million parcels in the U.S., all in the same projection and spatial format, ready to use.”

Boundary Solutions Inc. assembled the most extensive database of parcel map data available from jurisdictions throughout the United States. Terms and conditions for its acquisition, use and updates are in place for over 85% of the nation’s major metros, almost 40 million parcels. All content is normalized, regardless of source format, to a single national spatial configuration so that an application that works in Seattle also works in St. Pete. BSI has filed with the U.S. Office of Trademarks and Patents a provisional patent application that includes the establishment of an online national parcel map data server that enables its users to operate parcel GIS data models as well as an Application Programming Interface that helps simplify using the data and creating applications.
