Mill Valley, CA: The US Patent Office published BSI’s U.S. Patent Application #20030140064 for a National Online Parcel–Level Map Data Portal (NPDP).
Primary claims of the patent include the online or desktop ability for NPDP subscribers to enter a street address and view the exact address location as a highlighted parcel boundary at the center of a parcel map display. A list of property record attributes such as owner, use code, assessed value and year constructed is displayed. NPDP subscribers may customize the NPDP content service to perform a variety of spatial analysis/reporting functions.
