Mill Valley, CA: Boundary Solutions Inc., custodians of the National ParcelMap Data Portal is pleased to announce that it was accepted for inclusion in the highly regarded Geodata.gov web site. The site is designed to help government and citizens find geospatial data and learn more about geospatial projects underway.

As part of the GeospatialOne-Stop initiative, (http://www.geo-one-stop.gov), geodata.gov is one of the 24 OMB electronic-government initiatives that will enhance government efficiency. The geodata.gov portal will accelerate the development and implementation of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) and includes state, local and tribal governments, along with the private sector and academia as participants.

To reach the NPDP listing go to Geodata.gov click on "search all the data" and enter the key words Parcel Maps. You will see our listing in the center of the page.

Data Sharing terms and conditions for its acquisition, use and updates are in place for over 85% of the nation’s major metros, almost 60 million parcels total. BSI has filed with the U.S. Office of Trademarks and Patents a provisional patent application that includes the establishment of an online national parcel map data server that enables its users to operate parcel GIS data models as well as an Application Programming Interface that helps simplify using the data and creating applications.
