Boundary Solutions Inc.
Supports California High Speed Rail Development Program

Mill Valley, CA:  This November, Californians voted for $10 Billion to be spent by their High-Speed Rail Authority to initiate a 220+ mph railway between San Francisco and Los Angles. By December, HSRA acquired Boundary Solutions, Inc.’s National ParcelMap Data Portal (NPDP) county databases along the intended route. Each digital parcel map data model is complete with NPDP compliant situs (actual) property address, characteristics and owner information, enabling the rapid assembly of a robust regional cadastre layer to support their infrastructure development process.

BSI is pleased that HSRA recognizes how modern property records define not just parcel location but extents, enabling far greater efficiency, accuracy and equitability in implementing this vital transportation alternative.

Be it empowering high speed rail, alternative energy, economic recovery or disaster readiness and response, NPDP is finding its way to the forefront of the emerging struggle to get this train back on its tracks.

####

Boundary Solutions Inc. is the custodian of the National Parcel Map Data Portal (NPDP™). As of December 2008, a total of 65 million parcels from 600 jurisdictions are normalized and server-ready for download. Regardless of source format, geodataprocessing softwares subject the content to over 30 software driven modifications and metric recordings to assure universal internal consistency of this geoserver-ready content. NPDP™ content is available as downloads from the NPDP FTP site or on a transaction basis using either ISC ParcelAtlas, r7 GeoRoom or Placebase Pushpin geoserver platforms. In 2006, Boundary Solutions Inc. was awarded U.S. Patent 7,092,957, entitled “Computerized National Online Parcel-level Map Data Portal.” Claims include multi-state search to locate an address by displaying its corresponding digital parcel map boundary. The original provisional patent application filing date is January 18, 2002.
